One of the biggest challenges a remodeling credit union will face is how to keep the branch open while revitalizing the existing space. Silver State Schools Credit Union (SSSCU) in Las Vegas, NV faced this exact predicament and partnered with IBG to keep their Serene branch open and active while expanding and remodeling their existing footprint from 1,500 to 3,000 sq ft.
IBG was meticulous in the planning and staging of the remodel in order to keep noise and disruption to branch operations to a minimum during the construction. IBG staged construction into three phases to develop the branch into one cohesive space. With the added 1,500 sq ft, IBG was able to include a large walk-in safety deposit vault and increase the back-office footprint to allow for more services to be offered at the location.
