Patrick Sende

President & CEO

President and CEO Patrick Sende brings more than 20 years of experience in development, design, engineering, project management and construction operations. Over the course of his career, Patrick has contributed to the completion of over 350 building projects on five continents with value exceeding $300 million dollars.

He began as an integral member of the U.S. Air Force C-17 design, development and manufacturing team. Later, as a structural engineer/architect and senior manager with Temcor in Southern California, Patrick delivered cutting-edge designs for the Hobby-Eberly telescope at McDonald Observatory in Texas, the William E. Gordon radio telescope at the Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico, and the Desert Dome biosphere at the Henry Doorly Zoo in Nebraska.

Prior to founding IBG, Patrick directed the development activities of a national design-build firm that specialized in the financial and health care industries. Here at IBG, Patrick provides executive oversight on all business activities to ensure stakeholder interests are promoted. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Santa Clara University and an MBA from UC Irvine.
